The Council, guardians of The World of Knowledge, decide the damage would be too great if they wait until the boys realise what has happened, and transport them from Reader World into The Land of Nature, to do battle with The Galloping Rot(less)

I am married to Irene, and I have a step-grandson who calls me 'Dave'. After nearly 60 years of being a male called 'Kim' it is good to have an 'ordinary' name (no offence to any Daves out there).

I am married to Irene, and I have a step-grandson who calls me 'Dave'. After nearly 60 years of being a male called 'Kim' it is good to have an 'ordinary' name (no offence to any Daves out there).

My childhood was spent in Chessington, Surrey, and is the influence for my book. I have simply taken some of my experiences and exaggerated them.
