Chandana Roy was born in Indore and brought up in Ajmer and Delhi. She holds a Master’s degree in Zoology from Rajasthan University (Jaipur) and has taught Biology for over twenty years to the undergraduate students of Troy University (Alabama) at their Sharjah campus.
Although this is her debut novel, Chandana has been writing for many years. She has written numerous gardening columns and cover stories for Gulf News and Khaleej Times (two of the prominent news dailies in UAE).
Currently, she lives in the UAE with her husband, but spends part of the year in Virginia, United States, where her son works and lives with his wife. Apart from writing, her other interests include photography, reading, singing and painting.
